Beautiful place to be anytime of the year, no complaints ever going to Liberty Park......Here is a picture of my father on the right, who lives in Inverness, and my uncle on the left from England..... at the Cooter Fest October 29th 2017
This park is adjacent to Wallace Brooks park, and equally as nice. There's a walkway that you can fish from, if you're careful
Its pretty when nobody is around, but at events it is overpacked. There are no toilets or no water fountains. There aren't any vending machines to get more water of your supply runs out.
I went here for the 4th of July fireworks display, and I was not disappointed. They did a great job with good music. I liked the girl who did strummed a fiddle (2017 performance). And the fireworks lasted about 40 minutes, which is fantastic. The announcer (hype man?) Was also very good. Clear to understand and made it enjoyable. Good time. The park is also good during the day. Nice walkways, and you can fish off of the piers. Even some picnic tables and a swing set and volleyball court nearby. Great place. The only downside is the trash in the water/bushes. But this is probably due to being close to the main road and highway. So it's not too bad, and I'm sure they clean as much as possible.
Another great park. Beatuful views of the water. Park benches and grills to cook on.
