Beautiful, well-maintained park and boardwalk located right on a large lake. I was in the area for work and wanted to find an outdoor spot to finish up some computer work. This turned out to be the perfect spot. There are a number of picnic tables around the park — most of them shaded by big, beautiful trees...and with a front row view of the lake. There is also a very nice boardwalk that lines the water, as well as a large dock that just out into the lake. I ended up staying through sunset, which was a great way to end an otherwise hectic workday. Also, at the time I was there, the level of crowd was just right — not at all too busy to be annoying and not too empty to be eerie. 2 small-ish parking lots adjacent the park - parking was not an issue.
Its a nice small park. Only park down town with a bathroom. They do not have a water fountain so make sure you bring enough.
This is a great place to take a break from riding. It has some of the best scenery and the park is always clean. Picnic tables are a great place to rehydrate and enjoy a relaxing snack. It has very clean bathrooms also. I recommend this place for a group of riders or a single one. Good place for families to with playground equipment for the kids.

Great place to bring the family. We rode the bike trails, played on the playground, looked out over the beautiful lake. Great time.
